"This is a much smaller company than some of the major camper van suppliers. Kenrick, who owns the company, is a really approachable guy and incredibly knowledgeable about his country. The thing you get with smaller companies is customer service, and Kenrick has it in abundance. My wife and I had our 22 day honeymoon touring round New Zealand, and did over 5,500km in the Ford Transit, and whilst we had only two extremely minor incidents with starting the van (and I mean minor), we had no problems with the vehicle. Kenrick is always on the end of a free-phone number, and is straight on the case for all of your requests. It is great that you get to deal directly with the boss of the company, and if there are any problems you get a direct response knowing that it will be dealt with, rather than getting lost in the ether of a massive company. New Zealand is a fabulous country and if your budget and requirements are in line with New Zealand Frontiers costs and vehicles then I wouldn't think twice about going with them.
